On the 11th January, we took two year 10 students (Kane and Ilinca) to Greewich University for the Southern Challenge Final, following their victory as part of the winning team at the South East Science and Technology Challenge Day, last July. The students successfully completed the challenge, in full, programming an EV3 Lego Mindstorm robot, so that it could navigate around a 3-D maze. Our students were amazing; they had a great time learning how to use new programming software, demonstrating excellent teamwork and perseverance as they trialed and improved upon their design, throughout the day! 

'We had a great time; it was very educational and we made new friends. We will continue to reminisce on this in the future and have learnt lifelong skills.'
