Hiring our facilities

Many of our facilities can be hired for events and activities, we are open seven days a week.  Details of some of the facilities available can be found below. For more details please contact our Lettings Manager.

School Hall

Our newly extended hall is a versatile, light and air space. At 336m² has a capacity of 650 for large formal theatre style presentations for conferences or as informal ‘cabaret style’ arrangements for dinners and wedding receptions. The hall features a stage and fully integrated state of the art audio-visual equipment and free Wi-Fi. The space can also be used for parties, competitions and events and the adjoining breakout area is ideal for registration and catering. There is ample free onsite parking for guests. For Hall hire music turned off at 11pm and exit the school site by Midnight.

Kitchen & Bistro

Adjacent to the School Hall is the Bistro Area, with additional along-the-wall upholstered seating and ‘comfy’ chairs clustered around fifteen round tables.

The Kitchen has a large servery and hot plate area available for keeping food hot.

Drama Studio

Complete with a large performance space, versatile lighting, blackened walls and curtains, and a lighting/sound balcony.

New Dance Studio

This modern performance space has full length mirrors and wall to ceiling windows with views over the grounds. The studio equipped with a sprung flooring and  lighting .

It has its own external entrance near the car park, which makes it is an ideal space for hire.

Performance Space

The performance space offers a large area with plenty of light from the glass frontage .  Sprung flooring, large wall mounted mirrors and a portable ballet barre mean that the space can be used for a variety of dance styles.
The modern sound system, lighting and blackout curtains offer a more dramatic ambience if required. 

Recording Studio

Full of industry standard equipment providing facilities to produce professional quality recordings. Comprising of both a digital studio and an 8x8 foot sound treated live room, anything from Solo Voice to drum kit can be recorded.

The digital studio is well suited to midi production, with a blazingly fast 8-core Mac Pro providing rock solid performance.  Two 30” cinema displays provide ample space for large projects and a third 20” display in the live room provides the artist with visual fold back.  The studio takes advantage of a motorised Mackie control console providing unlimited flexibility on recording and mix down projects.

Sports Hall

Offering a range of sports facilities with a very high ceiling, plenty of light and larger than average floor space.  The Sports Hall presents an excellent arena for a variety of sports: five-a-side adult football; basket ball; four-net-lane cricket, with ample bowling run-ups; netball and badminton for four courts.

A large wall-mounted digital clock and score board, good ventilation in the summer and under-floor heating in the winter, make this an all year attractive prospect.

Adjacent to the sports hall are separate male and female changing rooms and facilities.

Astro Pitches

The school boasts a full-size, all-weather 4G football pitch, of the most up-to-date professional standards, on a par with pitches fit for world class matches, also ideal also for rugby. There is also a second 3G pitch, these facilities include extensive flood-lighting till 9pm in the winter. Hire options available are third and half pitches or full pitches for matches. Changing rooms are available for use. The sports café is open at various times selling refreshments.

Meeting Room

The Meeting Room on the second floor has a capacity of up to 50 and is equipped with full audio-visual facilities for formal presentations.

However the space can be used for more informal smaller group discussions and can be reduced by means of a divide into two separate spaces.

MUGA Pitch

The tennis courts have been resurfaced and can now be used for netball and 5-a-side football.
