Today was a wonderful day of transition sessions in science! Pupils made fruit batteries ( looking at the voltage from various fruits and metals), made ice cream ( solids, liquids and gases), made rockets, looked at bioviewers( animal and plant cells) and used microscopes. pic.twitter.com/5SEpNO8pnG

Today in the 6th Form taster sessions. Chemistry carried out a titration practical to find out the exact volume of an acid needed to neutralise a measured volume of an alkali. It was sad but lovely to say goodbye to our Yr 11 class of 2024 on Friday. They started their time at Bishop Justus with a Power Cut, got through Covid and enjoyed a day and late afternoon event of celebrations.
