Media Studies builds an understanding of the role of media in society, as well as essential skills of investigation and self-expression necessary for young adults of today.   The Media Studies course offers learners the opportunity to develop a thorough and in depth understanding of key issues, using a comprehensive theoretical framework to support critical exploration and reflection, analysis and debate.

Film Studies

Students will gain an appreciation of film as an art form in terms of its visual storytelling.  Film allows students to understand important issues and developments within history, society and culture, thus challenging them to think in new ways about their perspective on a whole host of issues, such as representation of race or gender.
