    Kent Netball Emerging Schools Competition

    On Thursday 20th April the Yr 7 and 8 Netball teams attended the Kent Netball Emerging Schools Competition at Rainham School for Girls, Rainham, Kent.   There was a morning round to divide the teams into two leagues Gold and Silver.  Both teams did really and made it through to the afternoon rounds in the Gold league.   Games were tough and the Yr 7 won all of their game apart from the one draw. &nbs...

    Bromley Girls Represent at the London Youth Games - Girls Rugby

    On Thursday 16th March, myself and Mr Taylor took 22 girls to the London Youth Games Rugby Tournament, competing and representing Bromley in the U13 and U15 age divisions. They were brilliant! Our standard of rugby improved throughout the day with both the U13s and U15s coming up against some brutal opposition, but the girls tackled low, passed accurately and scored some brilliant trys!     Year 7 1 Challenge!

    3 weeks ago, students in Year 7 were set the £1 Challenge. Each student was given a £1 and were tasked to turn it into as much profit as they could within two weeks. The year has made a staggering £1,263.76 which will be split between Bishop Justus’ partner school in Tanzania and to Comic Relief.     On Tuesday 10th January I took a group of Yr 7 and 8 girls to the Bromley Schools Indoor Athletics competition held at Harris Beckenham. The events included track and field such as obstacle relays, standing long jump, speed bounce and shot putt amongst many more events. The girls were fantastic and an absolute credit to the school.     On Tuesday 22nd November,  the Year 9 GCSE Dance group performed a Dance piece at St Peter and St Paul Church, Bromley, at their annual Welcare Thanksgiving Service. For this event, the students had been asked to choreograph a piece based on The Parable of the Mustard Seed.
