As the politicians sank into turmoil and uncertainty, the picture in our school mock election was much more straightforward. Caitlin in Year 9 won for Labour with 305 votes, followed some way back by Josh (Year 8 -Conservative) on 112, Alex (Year 9 - Green) with 92 and John (Year 10 - Liberal Democrat) on 38. Huge congratulations to all candidates for their efforts in campaigning, those who stood earlier in the process, those who helped out and to Mr Allen for his hard work in bringing things to fruition.

The expedition consisted of 3 days hiking and camping in the New Forest, totalling 21 hours of walking and activities over the 3 days, as well as preparing and cooking their own meals. The students had to spend 3 and a half hours each day completing activities they had planned, including observing natural life in a local reptile sanctuary, and photographing different forms of nature and wildlife throughout their hike. The students maintained extraordinarily high spirits throughout the weekend and even organised and participated in a very competitive volleyball match! The students worked so hard all weekend an...
